Hands On Make-n-Take Tables *NEW for 2011*
Many of the Exhibitors will be hosting hands-on make-n-take tables at the show.  It is up to each exhibitor as to charge a fee to cover material and labor costs...the average fee per make-n-take at the STSY events is usually $1.  An attached fee allows the make-n-takes to be a bit more sophisticated allowing the use of more embellishments and quality products.  Additionally this event will be including several "fund raisers" tables who are volunteering their time and products to support a local organization.  We don't know all that will be going on at each booth, but here is a sampling of what we do know:

Classes & Workshops
Classes and workshops will be offered on both Friday & Saturday.  Pre-registration  by mail, phone or email must be recieved by October 15.  AFTER this date limited registration can be at the door the day of the class.  Classes have limited space and registration is taken on a first-come basis.  Registration with less than 3 persons may be cancelled at the discretion of the instructor.  Class samples will be displayed at the STSY Artisan Boutique and at the expo registration table upon availability.

Friday 2-Hour Workshops ($25/class)- We offer more classes and workshops then ever this year on Friday. 2-hour hands-on workshops for $25/person Class samples will be displayed near the Lucky Duck Pond.   Pre-registration by US Mail requested by Oct 15 - or order by phone, email, or walk-in registration.  You may register for classes on-line at www.stampingtoseeyou.com.  Space is limited, so sign up early.  Classes with less then 3 persons may be cancelled.

Saturday 1-Hour Quick Classes ($10/session) -. More then just walking away with a card... Learn new techniques, try new products, experiment with products you may not have had access to in the past for a minimal fee. Each student will receive a "kit" with the session which will include a variety of products used in the workshop.   Pre-registration by US Mail requested by Oct. 15 - or order by phone, email, or walk-in registration.  You may register for classes on-line at www.stampingtoseeyou.com.  Space is limited, so sign up early.  Sessions with less then 3 persons may be cancelled.

What should I bring?  Students should bring a basic supply kit which includes (but not limited to) a ruler, scissors, xacto knife, pencil/pen, notepad, cutting matte, personal paper cutter, favorite adhesive, double sided tape, and/or glue stick, black ink pad (waterproof).  If a heat gun or other supplies are required, it will be noted on the class description.

Fri. 6p-9p: Introduction to Copic Markers
by Bonnie Warner, STSY $25/per
Bonnie Warner is certified with Copic to teach the Copic Marker techniques workshop. Students will see why Copic pens are all the rage as well as learning ten (10) coloring/shading techniques, coloring hair, flesh tones, using the blender pen, refilling and replacing pen tips as well as creating endless art pojects from coloring to abstract ink projects. These will be the only pens you will ever need to buy again!!

SATURDAY 1-Hour Quick Classes ($10/per)

Sat. Noon: WaterColoring with Twinkling H20's
by Bonnie Warner, STSY $10/per
This is still one of the most requested workshops offered. Everyone knows how much fun it is to watercolor with Twinkling H2O's, but this class will also incorporate a "faux acrylic" technique that gives you almost "opaque" rich pearlescent color and allows you to pint direct to your rubber and stamp to paper! It's a whole new world and uses for H20's!

Sat. 1p: Iris Folding for Fun

We will offer snacks and beverages throughout the day, dinner at 6pm, a daily treat bag, drawings, doorprizes, demonstrations, and lots of fun and games. $30/day or $50/2-day pass per person and includes free admission ($7. value) to the expo hall. Classes, Workshops & Stamp Camps
A weekend filled with classes, workshops and stamp camps offered exclusively to the Colorado market by professional instructors, designers, manufacturers and artists that know their stuff!!!  1-hour quick classes and 2-hour hands on workshops are the best way to try a product and learn how to use it!  Reasonably priced workskhops include all products and supplies as well as instructions and finished projects that you take with you!

ScrapBook Alley
Are you a closet scrapbooker? Or just a scrapbooker feeling a little left out...well there's something here for you, too.  Exhibitors throughout the facility will offer a variety of papers, stickers, accessories techniques and more.  As an added bonus many of the demos and make-n-take projects can be incorporated into scrapbook pages.

Annual Official Artist Trading Card Exchange
Bring approximately 30 artist trading cards to the Jeffco Fairgrounds at 9:15am on Saturday morning for the annual official artist trading card exchange. The exchange officially starts at 9:20am. How many trading cards can you exchange by 9:30? All stampers and scrappers who participate in the exchanges will get in to the showroom floor at approx. 9:30a. Prizes will be awarded for (1) most pins collected; (2) most humorous; (3) most glamorous and more.

ATC Card Swap Guidelines
Trading cards are the size of a business card (approx. 2"x3-1/2") and no larger than a baseball card (approx. 2-1/2"x 3-1/2")

The front of the card is stamped, personalized, embellished, & decorated just as you would a pin. On the back side you list your name, address and e-mail location.
Bring your trading card to the convention ticket entrance to be displayed on the hall of fame trading card board and be eligible for prizes.

Raffle O'Grande - Your Admission Ticket Could be A Winner! 
At 4:30 each afternoon STSY will be raffling a weekend total of more than $3000 worth of doorprizes.  In addition to a table of baskets and prizes to choose from the Grand Prize each day will be a weekend get-a-way to a Colorado Retreat Facililty worth up to $1000.  All you need is an admission ticket.  The ticket will be good for both days of the show.  You must be present to win.

STSY Wants to BLAST You...
Update our database and email address by filling out a doorprize slip and you will be eligable for special drawings and a trip to the treasure box of prizes. Make sure your slip is legible and your email address is included. Check the Lucky Duck Pond prize board regularly to see if your door prize slip has been drawn.  Slips are drawn daily approximately every half hour.   You must be present to win.

Artisan Walk-of-Fame
Ever wonder what happened to the cards that were submitted for StampMania card contests?  Well, now you will see.  We have collected 11-years of cards from all over the U.S. and displayed them for your appreciation.  Photos and sketches may be taken for your stamping and scrapbooking pleasure.

Annual Friday Nite Flea Market and Stamp Swap.
On Friday from 5p-7p we will host our annual Stamp & Scrap Flea Market and Swap. Bring your gently used punches, stamps, ink pads, books, paper, catalogs, magazines, paper, and accessories to swap, barter, trade and sell. Each participant will be given a 1/2 table to display. SORRY NO DEALERS ALLOWED.


Interactive Convention
We have put more than a new coat of paint on this show. Not just a new date and a new location, but a new list of exhibitors, lots of fun projects, techniques and lectures. Colorado's most economical crop. More prizes, drawings and doorprizes then ever! This show aims to give stampers and scrap bookers an opportunity to hobnob with exhibitors and designers and experience hands-on products and techniques. We hope that you will like the uniqueness of this event and find this interaction rewarding. We know money is a concern for everyone and we hope you will support your locally owned show in these economic times.
